Os anfibólios e biotitas estão associados, mas há níveis bem mais ricos em hornblenda, alternando-se com faixas finas mais ricas em biotitas. Trata-se de uma rocha nematolipidogranoblástica com anfibólio predominando sobre a biotita, com o plagioclásio sendo o principal mineral félsico. possivélmente é uma rocha ortoderivada plutônica de composição tonalítica.",
