Ocorre ainda, mica banca, como produto de alteração dos plagioclásios e hidróxido de ferro, como produto de alteração de hornblendas e opacos. A característica marcante da rocha é a textura nematoblástica, com desenvolvimento de uma foliação bem marcada por agregados de hornblenda orientados e quartzo fortemente estirado e igualmente orientado.",
