Unidade Estratigrafica: mixiguana.\r\nRocha granítica foliada, composta por cristais maiores (até 4 mm de comprimento), orientados, de plagioclásio tabular, de microclínio pertítico em geral ovalado, e cristais irregulares porém alongados e ondulantes de quartzo, cercados por uma matriz fina contendo os mesmos minerais félsicos, e máficos também orientados. O plagioclásio mostra em vários casos zoneamentos fortes e alteração intensa para epidoto e sericitia no núcleo. Os máficos são biotita marron e mais raramente verde, associadas a abundante epidoto poiquilítico. Titanita, opacos, restos de uma hornblenda verde azulada escura, apatita, e grandes allanitas também ocorrem.",
