Unidade Estratigrafica: Mixiguana.\r\nRocha foliada, de textura granular média, constituída por plagioclásio idiomórfico, microclínio pertítico subidio a xenomórfico, quartzo xenomórfico, e biotita e hornblenda em cristais que tendem a se orientar através da rocha. O plagioclásio exibe maclas nítidas, zoneamento forte e alteração moderada a forte para epidoto e sericita. O microclínio está inalterado. O quartzo tem extinção ondulante e  está em parte desintegrado. A biotita, marron avermelhada, e a hornblenda, verde azulada escura, estão associadas a abundante epidoto, e a acessórios como apatita, opacos, titanita, zircão e allanita.",
