Unidade estratigrafica: Mixiguana.\r\nRocha foliada, com uma estrutura lenticular, constituída por cristais de tamanho médio (até 4 mm) mais ou menos arredondados e orientados, de feldspatos (microclínio e plagioclásio) contornado por feldspatos finos, quartzo ondulante ou desintegrado e feixes de biotita marron orientada. Opacos, epidoto, allanitas de até 1mm de comprimento, titanita, apatita e zircão geralmente acompanham a biotita. Muitos dos plagioclásios exibem maclas ígneas, zoneamentos concêntricos e manchas de alteração para sericita, epidoto e carbonato.",
