Rocha de textura porfirítica, com fenocristais idiomórficos de feldspatos mesopertíticos, situados no meio de uma matriz traquítica fina, formada por feldspatos alcalinos e pontuações de minerais máficos. Os fenocristais são tanto de albita antipertítica como de K-feldspato fortemente pertítico e se caracterizam por conter pequenas inclusões de minerais máficos como epidoto, biotita marron esverdeada, titanita, apatita e opacos no seu interior. Na matriz ocorrem ripas mais ou menos orientadas de feldspato mesopertítico, com quartzo em interstícios e minerais máficos, como epidoto, biotita, opacos, titanita, apatita, um anfibólio alcalino verde-azulado (hastingsita? arfvedsonita?) e rara turmalina escura, disseminados ou formando pequenos agrupamentos.\r\n\r\n\r\n",
