A rocha contem principalmente microclínio inalterado, quartzo e plagioclásio sódico, em geral antipertítico e recoberto por sericita, epidoto e argilo-minerais. Os componentes máficos principais são opacos e uma biotita pardo esverdeada, que tendem a se alinhar e concentrar em níveis. Titanita, clorita, apatita, allanita, granada(?) e hornblenda (?) são acessórios.\r\n\r\n\r\n",
