A rocha contem fenocristais de 1 a 3 mm, poiquilíticos, de contornos idio ou subidiomórficos, de microclínio e mais raramente de quartzo e plagioclásio sódico, situados em meio a uma matriz de textura aplítica, essencialmente quartzo-feldspática. Componentes máficos bastante finos, como uma biotita marron-esverdeada, allanita e opacos cercados por titanita, tendem a formar agregados estirados numa mesma direção. Sericita, epidoto e argilo-minerais recobrem levemente os feldspatos. Epidoto e sericita concentram-se ao longo de uma fratura que atravessa a rocha.",
