A rocha contem fenocristais maiores (até 7 mm) de plagioclásio andesínico (An38-40), fortemente corroídos (xenocristais?) e algo alterados em sericita + epidoto, e fenocristais menores (de até 1 mm), idiomórficos, de hornblenda marron, levemente alterada em actinolita, e raros e pequenos fenocristais de biotita, com bordas corroídas e alterada para clorita. A matriz é muito fina, feltrosa, composta principalmente por ripas de plagioclásio e prismas de hornblenda marron. Opacos, titanita e apatita estão dispersos ou formam pequenas concentrações. Feldspato alcalino (?) parece estar também presente na rocha, mas é difícil distingui-lo do plagioclásio. O quartzo ocorre em pequenas cavidades arredondadas.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n",
