    "NOTAS" : "VULCÂNICA (ou piroclástica) RIOLÍTICA. A rocha contem pequenos fenocristais (20%), de até 2 mm de tamanho, de feldspato mesopertítico e de plagioclásio sódico, em meio a uma matriz félsica muito fina, cortada por fraturas preenchidas por epidoto. Os fenocristais são idio a xenomórficos e mostram alteração leve a intensa em sericita. A matriz é de modo geral microcristalina, formada por quartzo e feldspatos intercrescidos, com máficos finíssimos, como epidoto, sericita, titanita, opacos e biotita, dispersos. Fraturas estilolíticas são observadas na rocha. A presença na matriz de agregados e lentes quartzo-feldspáticas de granulação um pouco mais grossa (partículas de púmice?) sugerem (mas não provam) que a rocha possa ser uma piroclástica.",
