A rocha contem porfiroclastos arredondados, de até 3 mm, de microclínio pertítico e plagioclásio, contornados por uma matriz fina e foliada, composta por quartzo estirado ou cominuído, feldspatos, mirmequitos quartzo-feldspáticos, e biotita marron esverdeada parcialmente cloritizada, à qual se associam epidoto, titanita, sericita, opacos, allanita e apatita. Os porfiroclastos de plagioclásio por vezes preservam zoneamentos e uma alteração intensa no núcleo para epidoto e sericita. A matriz representa cerca de 30% da rocha.",
